Danimir Jevremović was born on November, 1978.
He graduated School of Dentistry with all highest marks, and became the youngest and the best graduate on University of Belgrade, Serbia.
During master studies (2005), specialization (2007) and PhD thesis (2008) he deals with contemporary all-ceramics systems, adhesive restoration, and principles of minimally invasive dentistry.
Known for his artistic understanding of dentistry, he derives prosthodontics as an interference of smile beauty and team talent.
In 2009, he becomes Assistant professor at University Business Academy, School of Dentistry, Pančevo.
He broadens ideas through exchange visits in Liechtenstein, Switzerland, Germany, England and Wales. In 2015, he becomes Associate professor, and in 2017 he gained the Professor title at the same Faculty.
Since 2017., he is a Chairman of Dental Prosthodontic clinic, Chief of Ethical committee and Head of Department of Clinical Dentistry in School of Dentistry, Pančevo.
Since 2019, he is a vice Dean for science at the Faculty, and since 2022 is a Vice Dean for international cooperation.
He has one book, two monographies and one practical notebook for dental students. He is author and co-author of numerous scientific publications, participant in international projects, as well as lecturer and demonstrator on domestic and international symposia.
Prof. Dimitar Filtchev

⦁ Professor Dimitar Filtchev graduated in the specialty of “Dental Medicine” from the Faculty of Dental Medicine in Sofia in 1998. In 2000, he was appointed as an assistant in the Department of Prosthetic Dental Medicine at the same faculty, and since 2022, he has been a professor in the same department.
⦁ In 2003, he obtained a postgraduate specialization in prosthetic dental medicine.
⦁ In 2006, he specialized for 3 months in the Department of Prosthetics in Munich, and two years later, he continued his education with a specialization in implantology at the New York Dental University.
⦁ In 2013, he defended his dissertation and obtained a doctoral degree.
⦁ From 2007 to 2015, he served as the president of the Sofia Dental Meeting Association.
⦁ Since 2010, he has been a lecturer at the Zimmer Institute in Winterthur, Switzerland, where he regularly conducts lectures and practical courses.

⦁ Dr. Iva Djorova graduated with a degree in dental medicine in 2005 from the Faculty of Dental Medicine, Medical University of Sofia. After obtaining her specialty in Orthodontics and defending her PhD thesis on “Research of Occlusal Relationships in the Finishing Phase of Orthodontic Treatment” in 2016, she started her career as Assistant Professor in the Department of Orthodontics at the Faculty of Dental Medicine, Medical University of Sofia. Currently, she serves as Senior Assistant Professor and Invisalign University Mentor of Align Academic Program. She is founder and Board President of the Bulgarian Orthodontic Aligner Society.

Dr. Elena Kanina
- Dr. Elena Kanina graduated from the Faculty of Dental Medicine at the Medical University of Sofia in 2012. Her interest in orthodontics dates back to her student years
- Since 2023 she is a Specialist in Orthodontics.
Dr. Kanina is the first Bulgarian Master Damon orthodontist, having completed a 2-year certification course with the leading Damon instructors Dr. Ramon Perera and Dr. Espejo in Spain. She has also completed a certification course in lingual orthodontics with Prof. Scuzzo (Italy).
She began working with in-office aligners in 2021.
2021- 2025 she is an instructor for a leading orthodontic case planning software.

Dr. Galina Nasteva-Dimova graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry at Medical University – Sofia in 1989. In 1990, she began working as an assist. prof. in the Department of Orthodontics at the same faculty, where she remained until 2003.
Since 1993 she is a Specialist in Orthodontics.Since 1991, she has been co-founder, co-owner, and manager of Dental Studio ND, where she continues to practice today.

Prof. Angelina Vlahova DMD, PhD
Prof. Angelina Vlahova works in the Department of Prosthetic Dentistry of the Faculty of Dental Medicine in Medical University – Plovdiv. She graduated her university education in 2005 in FDM-Plovdiv. She is an Assistant Professor in the Department from 2007 and a specialist of Prosthetic Dentistry from 2010. She became a regular PhD student in the Department the same year and her final defense was after 2 years, in 2012. She became a Chief Assistant Professor in 2013, an Associate Professor – in 2015 and a Professor – in 2019. She was chosen for a Head of the Department of Prosthetic Dentistry in March 2020 and 2024. From 21.12.2023 is a Dean of FDM-Plovdiv.
Prof. Angelina Vlahova has two monographies in Bulgarian and one in English, 3 textbooks, two of them in English, more than 170 articles and more than 150 oral and poster presentations on congresses in Bulgaria and abroad, and also theoretical-practical courses. She has more than 300 citations.
Prof. Angelina Vlahova works with students, post-graduation and PhD students in FDM-Plovdiv. She has lecture courses of Clinics of Prosthetic Dentistry with 3, 4 and 5th course English speaking students, 3rd course Bulgarian students and lecture courses “CAD/CAM technologies in Dentistry” for Bulgarian and English students.

In 2007, following five years of intensive study, I graduated with the highest honors in Dentistry and Dental Prosthodontics from the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia.
At just 29 years old, driven by the energy and desire to apply my expertise to restore my patients’ smiles, I took the leap of opening my first dental practice in the province of Modena. Unfortunately, this dream was interrupted only a year later by the 2012 earthquake that struck the Emilia Romagna region.
My parents always encouraged me to believe in myself, teaching me that even when life presents significant hardships, one must never give up but rather start anew with even greater strength.
Following this philosophy, four years later, I decided to begin again—opening a new dental practice in Russi (Ravenna) and subsequently a second clinic in the heart of Ravenna itself. Fueled by this spirit of rebirth, I have personally built a dedicated team that shares my values, principles, and commitment to continuous professional growth and innovation.

Georgi Kurtev, MDT
Georgi Angelov Kurtev was born in Plovdiv in 1979. In 1998, he completed his secondary education at the Technical School of Chemical and Food Industries in Plovdiv, specializing in Production Automation. In 2001, he graduated from the Medical College – Plovdiv with a degree in Dental Technology. He further obtained a Bachelor’s degree (2019) and a Master’s degree (2021) in Healthcare Management.
He has completed numerous specialized courses in the field of dental technology and is a certified trainer for VITA, BEGO, Thermosens, 3Shape, and Rhein83.
Georgi Kurtev is the founder and owner of the Polident Dental Laboratory in Plovdiv.

Dr. Maria Stoilova-Todorova
Dr. Maria Georgieva Stoilova-Todorova was born in the city of Plovdiv, Bulgaria. She graduated with honors from the Ivan Vazov Language High School in Plovdiv, specializing in French language studies.
In 2013, she graduated with distinction in Dental Medicine from the Medical University of Plovdiv.
In 2014, she successfully won a competitive position as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Orthodontics at the Medical University of Plovdiv. She currently serves as the coordinator of the department’s educational activities.
In 2018, she successfully defended her doctoral dissertation entitled “Rapid Maxillary Expansion for the Correction of Transverse Maxillary Deficiency.”
As an assistant professor and doctoral candidate, she actively participated in the department’s teaching activities, conducting practical training sessions for dental students in both Bulgarian and English, as well as for interns enrolled in the English-language educational program.
She obtained her specialty qualification in Orthodontics in 2021.In 2022, following a successful academic competition, she was appointed to the position of Chief Assistant Professor, a role she continues to hold today.
Between 2014 and 2026, Dr. Stoilova-Todorova actively developed her research career. Assoc. Prof. Zlatina Tomova-Veleva, DMD, PhD
D-r Zlatina Tomova Tomova-Veleva was born in Plovdiv in 1980. In 1998 she graduated from the High School of Mathematics “Akad. Kiril Popov” and received an English certificate from the English Language School “Plovdiv”. In 2005 she received a master’s degree in dental medicine from Medical University of Plovdiv. In 2017 she started work as an assistant-professor in the department of Prosthetic Dental Medicine, Faculty of Dental Medicine, MU – Plovdiv. After defending a PhD thesis “Laboratory testing of corrosion resistance and tensile strength of base alloys for metal ceramics” she received a PhD degree in Prosthetic dental medicine in 2019. In 2020 she acquired specialty in Prosthetic dental medicine. She has successfully finished two university projects – СДП 14/2027 – “Laboratory testing of nickel-chromium and cobalt-chromium alloys for metal ceramics, produced by powder metallurgy methods” and ВУП 1/2020 – “Clinical evaluation of the biocompatibility of base dental alloy for selective laser melting and 3D printing”. She has more than 20 published scientific articles, 17 of which are indexed in SCOPUS and Web of Science. She has two published monographies – “Laser technologies in prosthetic dental medicine”, 2023 and “3D printing in prosthetic dental medicine”, 2023. She has been chief assistant professor in the department of Prosthetic Dental Medicine since 2021. In 2025 she acquired the academic position of Associate Professor in the same department.
Her interests are in the field of prosthetic dental medicine, dental materials, and CAD/CAM technologies. Her scientific research is in the area of biocompatibility of dental materials, corrosion of dental alloys, and oxidative stress in the oral cavity.
She takes part in the organization of courses at MU-Plovdiv, officially acknowledged by the Bulgarian Dental Union.

Dr. Viktor Hadzhigaev
Dr. Viktor Hadzhigaev was born in 1980 in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. From 1998 to 2004, he studied Dental
Medicine at the Faculty of Dental Medicine, Medical University of Plovdiv.
Since 2006, he has been working as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Prosthetic Dental

Dr. Mariela Tsanova-Stamatova
Dr. Mariela Tsanova-Stamatova was born on September 19, 1988 in the city of Plovdiv. She completed her secondary education at the English-German Language School “Plovdiv” in 2008 with full honors. She became “Master of Dental Medicine” with excellent results in 2014 at the Medical University-Plovdiv, Faculty of Dental Medicine.
In 2013, she won second place in the National Orthodontic Competition “Professor Mutafchiev”. Even as a student, she showed an affinity for scientific activity, participating in an endodontic study club with the head Dr. Simeonova and in the team of a research project with the leading researcher Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vessela Stefanova.
Since 2015, she has been a full-time PhD student in the Department of Operative Dentistry and Endodontics of the Faculty of Dental medicine – Plovdiv. Under the scientific supervision of Prof. Dr. Neshka Manchorova, she developed a thesis on the topic: “Restoring vital, masticatory, vastly devastated teeth with CAD/CAM ceramic obturations (laboratory and clinic investigations), which won the “Rector’s Award” of the Medical University-Plovdiv in 2018.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Georgi Iliev is an established specialist in prosthetic dentistry and a longtime faculty member at the Faculty of Dental Medicine in Sofia, within the Department of Prosthetic Dental Medicine.
